An individual convicted for a DUI offence may appeal his/her case asking the court of appeal to review the case for legal errors. In an appeal, the appellant argues that due to key legal mistakes, the case should be dismissed or the appellant should be re sentenced.  This does not apply if you entered into a plea agreement and you waived your right to appeal as part of the agreement.
